Corberán: “It’s time to compete and to give our all”
The coach looks ahead to the game against Deportivo Alavés
Hours on from their derby draw against Levante UD at Mestalla, Valencia CF were back in training in a Saturday afternoon session. The squad are now turning their focus to their next game up, against Real Madrid on Thursday night (10pm CEST).
The players were disappointed with the result from Friday, sharing a point with their city rivals, but were determined to put the game behind them and keep working on their fitness and tactical skills. Coach Albert Celades gave the instructions over the course of a recovery session.
The fixture list is packed for the coming weeks, and 10 games remain before the end of the season. The squad remain determined to qualify for the Champions League next term.
